While it is refreshing to see more and more party planners embrace the notion of creating outdoor events, it does bring to question why it took the recession to nudge things in that direction. Surely, it is obvious that guests enjoy being outside during their spare time, as most are cooped up inside for long hours at work. Thus, the appeal itself is only one benefit, but a very substantial one. So, while it took economic forces to get to this point of interest, I guess it is one good thing the recession brought to us.
